Mission Statement

iPAW is an animal welfare organization promoting the quality of pet care through various programs

Our Story

A vast number of individuals support animal welfare in many different facets and locations. Their effort in helping animals is truly amazing and goes well beyond what many others consider the call of duty. For many, helping animals is truly a passion and life-long dedication. Several of us who have been supporting animal welfare for many years have discussed the need to tackle the root causes that result in animals ending up in shelters or neglectful situations.
The major causes continue to be:

* Indiscriminate breeding of unaltered dogs,
* Lack of effective training, and/or
* Choosing the wrong dog for your lifestyle or home dynamics.

Until recognition and sustained improvement is realized in these areas, the cycle of over population and uneducated pet ownership, will continue to wear out and bankrupt already exhausted rescues and put undue strain on an already fractured animal control/sheltering system.

iPAW was developed to address these systemic root causes through various educational, training and medical resources, and on an as-needed basis, provide foster-based rehoming services. iPAW is a new and inclusive organization that invites all of you to join our grassroots effort and become part of the iPAW family. The iPAW organization is for independent people who just want to help animals. This includes those who need assistance in selecting, training and keeping their new furry friend in a forever home. In the event circumstances change, we want to be here to support responsible rehoming. Finally, if you are aware of an animal in need of help, we want to assist with getting vet essentials completed, providing maintenance and preventative medications, and offering placement services that ensure adopters are fully screened and contractually bound to provide a fabulous home for your special pet.

Please join us by liking and following our organization......and getting involved! It takes more than a village and we need your participation to be successful!
